Dumb ass mistake :(

Evening folks...

Well, I did something really freakin dumb!

Working away on a new build and over-wrote a sub-directory of lesbian strapon sites on one domain...dumb ass! Unfortunately, I don't have the sites on local drives...so I've got to wait for the backup admin to come in on Monday and try to dig out the data from the backups.

I REALLY gotta be more careful when working tired...not a good excuse, but the truth...really sorry to all the folks who list my sites so consistently.

Looks like it's only 3 sites involved. Currently my htaccess is re-directing to my link list. I'm changing that as I type this message. Will re-direct to a blank page telling the surfer we're experiencing technical problems...please click the 'back' button to return to where you came from.

My sincere apologies folks...just a dumb ass mistake...hate when I do things like that =/

Hope to have this all fixed on Monday, but in the mean time...I'll do what I can to get your traffic back to you.

Ahh...replying to my own thread...this can't be a good thing! lol

An update for those that list my sites

Spoke with my host ... found out that NONE of my backups were being run. Apparently, through some staffing changes at the NOC...a few things fell through the cracks...like my backups

Needless to say, neither myself nor my host are very happy about this situation. Guess on the bright side, at least it was only 3 sites lost...and we found out about the backups not running. Had this been a disk failure or somthing...with no backups...well, that would have been OOOGLY =/

So, the brutal reality is...I have no way to restore the lost sites

As soon as I found out about this problem, I put up this re-direct...

All 3 of the lost sites were in this directory...and any traffic hitting this directory will get the re-direct page.

I thought this was the best and most fair way to return the traffic to sender.

I'll leave this re-direct in place permanently. So, if you want to drop the 3 sites in question...cool...if not, that's cool too. Either way, you'll get your traffic back...as is only fair

Again, my sincere apologies for the screw up...and for any additional work this may cause you. Rest assured, I'll do my best to make sure this never happens again.

No problems here at all. I will simply remove those 3 sites. I have NEVER had a problem with anything you've done. We have all done stupid shit once or twice, so no biggie.

BTW, I wasn't sure if you had the exact urls, so here they are:

Yep, moving in 10 days! Very excited to get to the new house...and pool! YUM!

Not a second thought

I was there for Charley...honestly never was concerned for my personal safety. And stuff can always be replaced. For me...the upsides of living there...still greatly outweigh the downsides

Spent the day packing...I hit the road late next week!

But now...some sites to send your way...here surfer surfer...hehehe

Yeah, hurricanes aren't really that scary. You get plenty of warning to get the hell out if you want to. I'll take a hurricane over an earthquake any day!! It's the tourists that would annoy me!
