Well I guess my nephew who is down visiting my sister will either be on his way home soon or will just have to ride it out. Her husband bought a generator but I think still had it in the shed in the box when we left there. lol. I guess he has it out now lol. Is it me or did FLA always have storms like this? I've always thought that trailers/mobile homes were good bait for hurricanes and tornados...lol.

Pulled out my generator the other day and fired it up. Secured all the outside plants and such yesterday...so we're good to go

Had quite a bit of rain last night...let about 3 inches of water out of the pool this morning. Looks like the banana tree leaves are getting a bit tattered, but nothing severe at all. Bananas are still on the trees and ripening

We're supposed to have some pretty good squals come through later in the day, but just catching the outer edge of this one. All part of living in paradise
