Price in the sales text

Having tried it both ways, I tend to put some mention of price in most promo text on trial joins. Almost never put anything in on monthly join sites. The higher price points are just too scary to tell em up front...let em get into the tour and really warmed up first

You'll probably see fewer click throughs and somewhat better ratios. Having the price there helps filter out the real free loaders that aren't going to buy no matter what. On the flip side, it might also inhibit the impulse buyer from ever clicking.

Something else to consider is that some surfers may not realize they can see some of the good stuff for a few bucks. Which again does make a case for including the price.

Bottom line...my bottom line looks better when including the price
