Genetics, as #1, and cultural differences are the main reasons. I live in eastern Europe and frankly to me, those 'teen' models, don't look borderline at all ... must be the fact that I see them every day on the street ;-)
It's how You/we see and value 'things' in (and from) our own culture perspective. Don't get me wrong, and I don't mean to offend anyone, but there is a general opinion (at least here) that Americans have weight problems from all that junk food of course … Oh, and add to all this prejudice as well. |
