We do it different than that. We keep our dogs till they pass away from old age. We also only breed them when we know we have good people that want them and they get them at 8 weeks. I could never give away my female dog she will be here till she passes on. Even at 8 weeks it's hard to see them go

Thanks for all the good words everyone! The puppies have doubled in size in just a week and Zoey is a great Mom. The only problem I'm having is staying out of the pen and getting any work done...
