Sales per free site in average?

Sorry to be negative, but recently it seems like I'm lucky if I get just one sale per freesite.
Being optimistic I'd say it's probably 1-2 at the most. A year ago I would have said 2-3, and two years ago 3-4.

For me traffic is about the same but ratios are dropping fast. Not sure if this is the trend for most freesite builders out there at the moment.

Rather than scream at sponsors for declining ratios, I'm more inclined to believe that I need to change the way I build freesites. I have over 700 out there and I struggle to find new ways to sell the sites I promote.

I think, (hope), that the sales are still there, but my stale and boring designs need to change.
