Been trying to get in here off and on for about 2 hours now. Finally. MIL has her first surgery tomorrow. The Husband and his father have decided against staying near the hospital, and instead will drive back and forth - an hour each way. This surgery was touch and go, with the doctors initially refusing to do it because they did not think she would survive the procedure. Now they are going through with it. Hopefully, all will be well...
