Well, as I understand it, companies and corporations fall under a special set of rules- so that, for instance, you have to use a personal credit card and check off an agreement that you are making a personal contribution on a personal credit card when you donate online.

And, if you donate over a hundred, (whoops, that's two hundred- maybe this is the two hundred figure you were referring to GG?) you have to identify your employment and the type of work you do. I just enter "self-employed" and "webmaster".

And I make sure to use one of the credit cards that I never use for business expenses when I donate. And, you can't use a corporate credit card at all for the easiest kind of online donation.

Other than that, an individual can contribute up to $2000, up from $1000 becuase of some of the recent changes in campaign finance law.

I'm going to look into the regulations a bit later on today, and check, but the last I checked, I don't remember anything saying individuals get looked at, other than the things I mentioned above. But I'll find out.
