Camcorder Question

I'm actually watching this thread myself very closely.

For the tranny paysite that I'm involved in we need to get both a decent still camera and a decent video camera. Angel and I have made a deal. If I buy a new digital camera she will buy a new video camera.

After doing lots of research it looks like I'm going to get the Nikon D70. It's about $1300 with lens.

I really like the fact that I can shoot up to 144 pics before waiting for the camera to write to the card. Great for shooting sex scenes. I'm using a Nikon 990 right now and it actually isn't bad but having to wait 10 seconds between each shot just kills the moment. LOL

Back in the seventies I was a professional photographer who did mostly 4x5 studio work. I still have a love of photography and have been wanting a better camera so this is a good excuse for me to by a decent SLR digital camera.

The Sony VX2100 looks to be about what we are looking for in a video camera.
