Aw, Dad, you've done a lot of great things, but you're a very old man, and old people are useless

3rd time lucky ... checking first
Thanks to Cleo for rejecting my first free site twice so far - it's helping me develop a clean format that I will be able to adopt as a standard going forward.
Rather than strike out three times, I thought I'd ask here first about the (hopefully) final change. I previously had thumbs linked to a cgi script - purely as an easy way to show the pictures centred in a page with a backlink. I can see how LLs might not like that though, so I'll change it. Question is: is it ok to have the thumbs linked to a page which shows the full-size picture, or must they only link to the image file itself ? If the link to page is ok, are there then guidelines as to what else can/should go on that page? I only envisaged a javascript backlink and a small copyright footer with text link - could I put ads, banners, etc there? Thanks |
