I like driving the Corolla, a nice engine for a smaller car, enough power to be a fun ride. But it's my utility car.

For me, cars are tools, and my primary requirements are that they be reliable as hell. So I like having two of the worlds toughest vehicles.

Thumbs up on the taco, and you certainly do have two of the worlds toughest vehicles. Toyota has been so good to me. My daily is a 1992 Toyota celica GT, and all I had to do to it, ever - was regular maintanance. brakes, oil, and a clutch at 110k because the old one started to slip a bit. Gets awesome mileage, comfortable, and still looks OK for a car that's 12 years old.

As far as breeding aid and status, I found that it really doesn't make a difference. At least not with girls that I'd want anything to do with. I met my gf (we're engaged now) in community college, while driving the beater. My best dates were picked up in cars that were more then half my age... In fact when I drove my dad's vette around (mint '71 stingray in 2 tone orange), smart hard working girls automatically presumed I was an ass.

Flashy cars are for one night stands with shallow gold diggers. Of course for some men that's about all they can hope for :-/
