When you buy socks buy 10 identical pairs at the same time. Then when you loose 1 sock you have 9 pairs. If you loose 2 socks then you still have 9 pairs.

Plus you can always grab 2 socks in the dark and they'll match. I've actually ended up at work wearing 1 black wing tip and 1 brown wing tip. I'm so happy to work from home now
