Indian niche: Best use of my time?

I want to use my time efficiently. In order to do this I need to promote the most undersaturated niche. From what I'm seeing, it's the Indian niche.

I've come to the following tentative conclusions.

1. Indian sites convert at an average or better rate compared to other niche sites
2. It's easier to get traffic to an Indian site because there aren't as many.

Is this true? I'm basing this on information from sources I don't know very well and I may even be misreading what I'm seeing.
