What's Up with Jays lately - explained

Due to a combination of highly unlikely server problems and program errors,
Jays script and server hit a really big speed bump.

The backup files were also affected in the crash. Through other means though, we have been able to resurrect about as much data as possible, but only 92% of it.

A rough idea of what was lost is the past 2 weeks of listings.

However, some of your Old sites are now New again, though most of your new submits we were not able to recover.

Everything seems to be holding up so far, and it appears that we'll be back to biz as usual tomorrow. (5/9/05)

For those of you that keep your submit info around, you can submit 2 sites per day for the next week.
1 site for New submits, and the other for sites already submitted.
If they were Not listed before, they won't be now either.

Yeah, I know it sucks, and it made for a really frustrating weekend
Unfortunate as it was, it did happen, and we have to deal with it.

We appreciate all the icq's and emails - but hopefully this should answer everyone's questions.
