Alexa isn’t really the best tool to use for tracking traffic. Alexa's traffic rankings are based on the usage patterns of Alexa Toolbar users over a rolling 3 month period. http://pages.alexa.com/exec/faqsidos/help/index.html

I don’t know a system that will giveaway the info to the public, but there are counters like outster that would rank you on their site based off the traffic you send to pages with the ouster counter on the page.
