I call it Herd mentality.
Someone, someplace says X type/sponsor is doing great! It's Brand new, get in while it's hot... blah blah blah.
Within a week, you'll see it.
I very rarely need to read a sponsors email to realize they have a new site. I'll see it the next day.
Get used to it, it's just an unwritten rule that a LL owner has to put up with I guess.

docholly - since you're partners only, just email certain submitters one by one, and ask them to fill certain categories only. Using different templates, and hopefully domains, of course. You'd be surprised. You get categories filled, they get targetted traffic, and they are able to refine the sales approach to some pretty incredible ratios.
