I'm not trying to jump on you here man but I don't understand your post at all.
You state
"although I've already learned to post to TGP's, and am now learning how to post to Top List (sites), etc..."
Then you say
"Also, what are some of the best pay TGP sites out there"
I would think you would have an idea of this answer being you said you have been posting already. Or are you saying this is just learned and not practiced information?

I'm not sure I'm following this part. What's it got to do with the question?
"which of all of the methods available is the best way to generate business to our websites?"../and is it really worth it?"
From the amount of things you have learned so far I would think you have an idea on this already, there is no best way, it's what ever works for you. Is it worth it? Another one that's totally up to you.
Am I just reading this wrong?
