Yup, it's entirely up to you what to use, and one of the reasons to build a hub is to play around with different ways of filtering your traffic to see what works for you. The best general advice is to put a little time into the design so it's obvious to your surfers that it wasn't just slapped together, and try different combinations ads and content to see what works
