LL's as directories?
I have several years of experience in non-adult, but I'm relatively new to the adult niche. I want to focus on search engine traffic and wonder whether submitting to LL's would help me?
In non-adult, submitting to directories can be an excellent way to get backlinks from on-topic pages. The only thing is to make sure that the directories are using clean html links without any nofollow tags. My adult sites aren't your run-of-the-mill freesites on subdomains. I do text-rich sites, some of them quite large with 20 or so pages of text, not just galleries. Some of them are blogs. Should I even try submitting to LL's? I am looking for good, effective ways to increase ontopic backlinks to the sites. Here are a few examples of my sites - www.bukkake-on-her-face.com (a blog) www.dogging-outdoor-sex.com (a minisite) www.housewives-sex-party.com (a minisite) www.college-fuck-parties.com (still being built, but you can see this is a larger than usual site) I had a look around at submission rules, and I noticed LL's are considering only the standard free site (i.e. a warning page with a big ENTER link to a main page + 2-3 gallery pages). What if my sites are different? should I even bother submitting to LL's? Again, it's quality inbound links that I'm looking for, not instant traffic (not that I would object to traffic). BTW, I myself have set up a couple of adult directories, the kind I was hoping to find around. If you want to see what I have in mind as a directory please check www.hodir.com and www.xlef.com. Thanks in advance for any feedback. I do consider myself a newbie still, so please... feed me with info! ![]()
