Usually they are people that see these other life styles as temptation. It's very possible that either this guy has dreams of homosexual experiences or he saw a homosexual experience that disturbed him deeply (probably because it was someone close to him).
Whenever you have the chance to really chat with these types of people it almost always come down to their own inner temptations. Otherwise why would they even think about?
