Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! I slept in this morning (how decadant!) then played with my big melons, lol. We have harvested the first of our watermelons, wow the first two were #20 and #27! I didn't even know they got that heavy! Got another today out of the garden about #15, chunked it up and bagged it up. I've been eating a lot of watermelon the past few days.
I'm planning on dragging MadHatter to play Bingo with me. (I sound like an old lady, but I love Bingo) He has never gone, and since it is my birthday, he's going. Then tonight, they are actually having a Luau in the park here with Hawaiian music and dance. Pretty nice that they did that for my Birthday.
I haven't been to a Luau since I moved to NV from Hawaii. The United Way is putting it on, hoping that they have live music and not canned. This ought to be interesting to see how good Hawaiian music is in this mostly redneck town.
Happy Birthday to all the other birthday people too! Wow Bill Clinton too lmao. Bet he is partying today.
