Thanks for the posts guys,

So does a ping go off after every post, so thereby if you are making a lot of posts a day, then it would be pinging too much, I think thats what you were getting at?

For update services in WP, I just have http://rpc.pingomatic.com/
What do you guys recommend, changing this setting, adding different ones? Do you guys have something different in there.

Walrus:
Ive been following your advice and writing down on paper notes etc., and I have noted I wont use that time stamp thing on wordpress due to the reasons you outlined. I have been thinking about that program you posted, and its one of those pages that I've seen heaps of times, the one page infomercial type thingy. Ive seen about a dozen of these kinds of pages all with different blog type programs and I didnt really know if they would be worthwhile, as they all look similiar. So did you find that yours was worth the hundred bucks nearly asking price? Does it do many other things besides just the remote posting?

Have you guys tried the email posting from wordpress thats built in?

The bottom line is, I dont want to login to multiple blogs and post in the wordpress interface, would rather, spend a day a week setting up my posts for the week ahead, instead of doing them each day. One of the things I thought about doing was making a text ocument and writing next weeks posts in there, then I just need to copy paste each day or something, I really am looking for automation, hence I like the look of that program walrus.
Sorry, I talk too much and ask too much ), I just realise there is mucho knowledge in here :-)
thanks again
JD
