But...
3 letter dot coms without any meaning or traffic routinely sell for $5,000 to $10,000 on domainer forums. We recently sold a much less appealing domain than SUQ.com (something like UQX.com, can't disclose the exact name as per the buyer's request) for high $X,XXX.
Back in 2004, 3 letter .coms were indeed selling for less than $1,000 each so this means that prices have increased 5 to 10-fold over the past 3 years alone. Many buyers take 3 letter .com domains off the market; supply becomes scarcer and scarcer while at the same time more and more big money investors enter the market.
Offers welcome, but I'd say we definitely won't sell this domain for $4,000.
