Wordpress 1.5 to 2.5 upgrade?

It's been a couple years since I really delved into Wordpress so I'm probable not the best person to answer the "do you like 2.5 more" question.
It is a totally new dashboard but a very intuitive layout so the new dashboard shouldn't be a problem for anyone.
It took me awhile to find a template that all the functions worked in, so make sure any new templates you choose have been upgraded to 2.5
I tried the RSS Feed sidebar widget and it didn't work for me (everything in the sidebar below the widget disappeared).
Also been working with a large database adding a category then a post for that category freezes up the "add new category' function after 20/25 posts.
I'll post if I find anymore weirdness.
