What % of your users have Cookies disabled?
I was checking my stats and noticed:
"Visitors Not Accepting Cookies 14.32%" Mainstream non adult sites seem to be around 2%-5% users don't accept cookies- from my experience. Is this pretty typical for adult sites? People seem to crank up security settings and personal firewalls when vsiiting adult sites. There's a basic distrust out there...so it seems. In a thread I replied to Cleo about my friend not wanting me to click on any Adult sites at GreenGuys's Link-o-rama for fear of 'gettign a bunch of shit on my computer" no matter what I told him. So, I mention to my friend in E-mail about my adult site- asking her to check it out. She replied: > I'm a little wary. Do you > have anything on there that's going to delete my internet > options and install your site as my home page? My brother > blew up my last laptop with a site that did that. It's amazing- I mean...she's known me since '96 and should know I wouldn't do that. It seems an automatic perception people take on that Adult=Scumware and people are highly guarded when surfing adult sites. I guess- with good reason. ![]() |
