Well, when it comes to modify WP appearance, there isn't too much to learn actually. It took me about 2-3 days to get a grip on it. It's not that you have to be a PHP and CSS guru to make few changes. Google has all the answers, just ask
yup.. some knowledge of the basics + trial and error and you'll be fine.
