So let me post this in his place please...

Just wanted to let you know I'm sorry about the whole hotlinking issue. Lemme explain the situation: yesterday at work I had been browsing forums all day long and suddenly felt the need to change my avater over at CFUS. I dowloaded it first but when I tried to upload it to my own space I realised I don't have ftp access here, so I decided to hotlink it for a few hours until I got home.
I did not notice when you deleted the image on your server and replaced it like you said, I had already uploaded it to my own server by than. Needless to say I was very surprised when I visited your board today and noticed I couldn't post anymore.

By no means did I mean to disrespect any of you or the rules, I've been doing my very best to be a good member of the community from day one, just like I am one at CFUS (I'm not 1 of the 2 admins without a reason). I just figured that no one would mind me linking such a small image for only a few hours from such a big board, it was never my intention to keep hotlinking it. I know I could have just waited a few hours until I got home, but I was bored and you know how it goes ... I am of course willing to pay any bw costs I might have caused.
And I am NOT just another hotlinker, I've been a webmaster for a couple of years now and built up a good reputation as a thrustworthy and reliable person. Ask anyone in CFUS for that matter.

So please accept my apologies and give me my posting rights back.
