I wonder why your email was considered spam?
You pasted only the text you sent, but what's your signature look like in your outgoing mail? I was having problems myself with my own ISP at one time because the emails being sent had too many URLs for my own ISP's liking. They weren't spam at all though. As for the account verification... seems a bit much. Australia isn't typically on any watch lists.
