Anyone who signed up for my affiliate program (eg. through my sig) may have received an email earlier in the week from A1 telling them that the affiliate program is closing at the end of September. This is NOT TRUE, the affiliate programme is still up and running. This morning you should have received a second email from A1 telling you that the affiliate program is NOT closing, if you have not received it please check in your spam bin.

What is changing is the way some other publishers with A1 will be managing their affiliate program. A1 are still discussing details, however, in an email they sent to me they inferred that publishers will have opt in/opt out rights. At the moment, if you join my program (or any other program managed by A1) you can promote all other publishers using A1. I am guessing that once publishers are allowed to opt out of this deal you will only be able to promote those who opt in. I have no idea why anyone would want to opt out, as it will simply mean less profits for them, but once A1 have finalised everything it will be explained in your stats area on their site. However whatever happens THIS WILL NOT EFFECT ANYONE PROMOTING MY PROGRAM, it will only effect you if you are promoting other programs through A1, and they opt out.
