A Fine & Dandy Tuesday To Everyone!

Went for a ride last night, had a car follow me around the 1.9 mile loop. At the end of the loop I swore they said something to me, but, I turned around, couldn't see who it was, they didn't say anything after that, so, I kept riding. Turned right, they turned left. So, I started riding down another road, got to the middle point and the rain came down in buckets. It was raining so hard, I could barely see. I rode the rest of that segment, went under an awning and put my cell phone in my saddlebag as that would be much drier than my belt clip. I ended up riding back through the rain - at points riding in 2" of water on the street, got home, the garage door was open and my nephew was standing there.

"You didn't hear me call your name?"

And, to top it off, the flat I got Sunday and repaired with the Slime Skabs failed after I got home. Upon a lot more reading, those are meant to be temporary. Finding a vulcanized rubber patch kit the other day was impossible, so, I settled on those. Lesson learned, but, I'll keep them just in case.

So, tonight, replacing the innertube until my $2.95 patch kit arrives and I can patch the old tube.
