Our area has been hammered hard with rain over 11" in 20 hours.

We had some dumbass decide to take his 5 yr old son on a rubber raft adventure on a creek that is normally 5' deep and maybe 30' across, but with all the rain it was 20' deep and 1/4 mile at least across.

Raft hits a tree branch and goes pop.....

Has a happy ending though, they both made it to the shore and lived and to make it even happier they arrested the dumbass and charged him with child endangerment a class D felony.
