Everything here has A/C.
This time of year we go from our air conditioned homes to our air conditioned cars to go to air conditioned malls. Some homes only have wall units but most have central A/C units. In winter we open our windows and take the top down/out in our cars. It is only hot, humid, and nasty about four months out of the year with the rest being very nice Our homes barely have heat, just electric strip heaters in the A/C unit kind of like what a bread toaster has, and it is only needed a few days a year if at all. I live on the east side of town by the ocean so we always have a nice breeze and it doesn't rain as much. If you go inland it rains more and is much more humid. I live on what was a natural sand bar but inland is all build on drained swampland. It is much cheaper to live inland. |
