Unless you didn't love your wife anymore, and weren't really looking forward to being a father. Or you just plain hated the holidays and needed away for awhile. Neither of those equals guilt or innocense, but it are possible explanations.

A side note to that is during pregancy I was such a bitch I am sure someone would have driven cross country to get away from me, no matter what day of the year it was.
