I got scrubbed today

Full credit giving back to my CC. I've actually had this happen to me about seven or eight times now. All different cards and banks and they never actually had the physical card, just the number. None of these has ever cost me anything other then some aggravation.

With the Russian Embassy it was books and electronics from what I remember. It was the most dollar amount of all of them.

Just this year I got a call from one of my CC asking me if I had bought twelve hundred dollars worth of sporting goods in upstate New York at two different stores in person. I have not been to upstate New York in over twenty years and my card was still in my wallet so I'm not sure what they were using. Kind of too late for them asking me if I had bought this stuff after it was already bought.

Ironically I've never had any problems with any of the cards that I use on the internet.
