RussianSubmitter problems

im not a russian submitter expert but... i bought a months worth and used it to submit 4 galleries.

the support tickets do not get looked at or answered - ever. i submitted one on day 2 of the month that i paid for and at the end of that month the support ticket was still unanswered. your best bet is to post on the russian submitter forum.

a couple of the problems that i had with it were

1.) it was almost impossible to edit the tgp database, except for making small changes, because of server timeouts and server error.

2.) clicking the sorting and naming option (to name the html files babe.html or whatever) produced a blank white page. when i viewed the page source i saw that there were mysql errors.

3.) some of the recips are rediculously large. some of them have 4 outgoing links on them. if i was unlucky enough to have that recip paired with a good tgp i was risking getting blacklisted. also some tgp's only allow a certain amount of outgoing links...

4.) many of the tgp's on the submit list arent even real tgp's. they dont send any traffic and the recips either lead to pop-up hell or something else. not a tgp that would be listing my gallery.

5.) there are alot of tgp's on the list that now require a partner account. so you can build galleries for them and submit with russian submitter but they will never even get reviewed.

i also didnt get much traffic from the galleries i submitted. the handful of sites that did send a decent amount of traffic i just added to my hand submit list and stopped using rs.

now i use gass 2.0 and i think its the greatest. its not an autosubmitter but it makes submitting galleries by hand so easy. and you have control over what recips go together and where they will appear on the page. also, when you are submitting you actually have a chance to read the tgp's rules and see their webmaster ads. and you will never get banned or blacklisted for using an autosubmitter with gass 2.0 . anyways im not affiliated with them but i like it.
