how long does it usually take for a freesite to get a sale on average?

My very first free site had two sales within the first week it was listed and appears to still produce an occasional sale. I also have free sites that have never made a sale and, I assume, probably never will. It's a toss between too many factors to even guess what goes right for me and what goes wrong. When in doubt, I always blame the sponsor and go to bed feeling good about my abilities.

From what I've seen there is no "average." I've had sales pop the day I built the site and some that take weeks to make a sale (if they ever do). Note to self: get rich so I can pay someone to truly analyze all those damn stats the way I never have time to.
