When I first bought this I bought the extended in house warranty, so when the fan went out last year they had to come to me and replace it. After watching him take it apart its a good thing, I would never have gotten to it, but the Hard Drive is simple, literally one screw on the side and it slides out, took me all of 1 min to replace the last one.

I did just receive an email from Dell that is about 5 pages long telling me what to try.... but not one line answering my question on replacement cost.

I mowed the grass while waiting for my files to backup, nothing else to do or to go, so I think it's time|rasta|
