I have one that we just let run in the corner of the house - I can't really tell any difference, but I'm sure it's doing something

What you pay for one of those free standing things is about what it cost us to put an electrostatic filter on the furnace. $300. Why not do the whole house instead of one room. Works on the same principle.
You can get them at hvac supply store and put it in yourself, not rocket science, pretty easy to install and it comes with directions. Just my opinion. |
