So I'd been eating a lot of soup the last few weeks. Usually 1 can (2 servings) a day, sometimes 2 cans. At 90-150 calories a serving, a can fills you up & is not that bad towards my per day calorie goal.
Last night TheBitch had a nutritionist come over & go over what we've been eating & what we should be eating & whatnot. Seems that I really need to read the rest of the label instead of just the calorie part. Each serving of soup has 30-35% of the RDA of sodium. So, on those days I had 2 cans, the soup alone was giving me up to 140% of the sodium I need. So that "holding water" theory might have contributed to the problem. No soup yesterday & I like what I see ![]() |
