Wife carrying - the new UK sport

Wife carrying races are being added to some of the carnivals this year in the UK. Could create an interesting niche if it moves into the biker rallies and events like that.

I guess some guys start off with a big disadvantage.

Just did a bit of research and apparently it has its historical roots in Finland where, in the 1800's, it was common practice for men to steal women from neighbouring villages.
