Osiris, I am about 5'10". If you use the BMI ( http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.htm ) I am still over. It wants me to be 173 to fall into "normal". I will accept "slightly over", say about 175... but really I would enjoy to see 170 again.
GG, I have the same problem... stuff that was tight just isn't tight anymore. But I added to the motivation by taking out stuff that is MUCH smaller and trying to wear it. ![]() Alex |

Heh, you want fat? Reach the 250+ mark.. I've NEVER been this big in my life and it's taking a toll on me. Over the past years of sitting at the computer I've put on an additional 75lbs.

GG, as a side note, if you are doing exercise, especially treadmills or exercise bikes, it is very easy to put weight on because muscle is heavier than fat, and your legs have some of your larger muscle groups. So if your weight loss program involves that sort of exercise, you will be in better shape but you may not see as much of a weight drop as you want.

Here's some weight loss tips for everyone that's been proven to be VERY effective (at least for me):
1. Drink a glass of water immediately after you wake up. It gets the body's metabolism started and cleanses the system 2. Eat a big breakfast 80% of overweight people eat little or NO breakfast at all. Eat as much fruit as possible and also include raw milk, plain yogurt. If you want more info, email me; I'll send you a complete list. 3. Drink 8 glasses of brita filtered water or distilled water per day. If you are overweight, you need to flush the toxins from your fat cells - its as simple as that. Water is crucial for weight loss. 4. Walk at least 1 hour/day - without stopping. 5. Do not eat after 6PM - try your best at this. You can virtually eat as much as you want until 6 PM 6. Do a candida cleanse - if you are overweight, you absolutely positively 100% have a candida yeast overgrowth in your body. Buy the book Lifeforce - it will tell you how to get rid of candida - permanently 7. Eat grapefruits - all day long. There's an enzyme in grapferuits that burns fat. 8. No aspartame or artifical sweetners. All this shit makes you fat and does not help at all. 9. No MSG - this stuff is cancer in a box 10. ...and into the mix: get some exercise. You don't have to do much to get your body working again. I personally play badminton for at least 2 hours once per week (sometimes twice) and now I have a bike to try to ride daily or every other day.
Don't wait until you are super hungry to eat, you will eat more than you need (it takes longer for your brain to figure out you are full already). Decide how much you are going to eat before you start, and don't eat more than that. Water... water... water... I feel like a human water fountain I drink so much. EVERYTHING in moderation. Alex |
