This is the type of site I promote, almost exclusively. My conversions generally run between 1:400 and 1:500. My rebill percentage on recurring memberships is about 45%. Now for the big disclaimer, "Your results may vary." It all depends on your how well the sponsor sites you select match your traffic. 18 months ago my conversions were about 1:1600. Lots of trial and error, both adding/removing traffic sources and adding/removing sponsors and it's an ongoing process. Sponsor content becomes overused, sponsors add/remove features from their site or program. You just have to keep checking for these changes and adjust accordingly.
