just leave your site the way it is and build regular free sites to feed traffic to it instead of changing you whole site to get listed on the link lists

thanks for the advice guys.
 I will be building a number of free sites as you say but I was hoping to get the main site listed on some of the main link lists. But it really is hard to fit in with thier rules.  I'm sure I can figure something out. The changes aren't too major. The things greenguy pointed out are for a reason. I need 800 width so its surfer freindly. Not having too many banners is also in the surfers interest. Although my site is not really overwhelming with banners. The hosted content thing is not too hard to do either. Might be worth making these changes to get listed on these linklists. Plus the more sites linking to me the better PR. Whats everyone think???
