More help with AS

Hello everyone.

Hoping someone knows how to fix my problem with advanced submitter.

For example: I have x amout of LL's I submit to. I have the amateur recip set for them all. Now I want to submit a teen site so I want to create a different submission type right?? Call it teens or whatever. So I create a teens category, paste the correct recip into as in the teen cat. and viola!

Now I go to create my index pages and it creates all the amateur and the teen indexes. I have my active submission type set to teen so I cant figure out why it is doing this.

Same thing with TGP. I created a submission type called MY TGP, I set the submission type to MY TGP and it creates all the tgp recips plus all my link list recips????
What am I missing

After you've selected your active submission Type (f.e. "teens") have you saved your new settings?

Yes. I just tried to do it again. I have 31 tgp's in a submission type called MY TGP. I hit the settings tab,Select MY TGP from the drop down list, and then hit save settings at the bottom of the screen. It created 28 different directories with all the tgp and link list recips mixed together???

Which Sites are shown in the "Page Submitter" Tab, only the TGPs or TGPs and LinkLists?

There are all together 10 fields where you can choose different submission types, and 9 of them are hidden through the link at the "Settings>>Galleries/Reciprocals" Tab where it says "Click here for more submission types". Could it be that you've selected the LinkLists there as a second submission type?

I think that did it! I had all the other active submission types filled in so it was using them all. I though it only used what was in the first box before actually clicking the "more submission types"
So this is also how I would use AS to create index's with different category recips?

You're not the first who made that mistake

And yes, that way you can combine different Categories.

Thanks for the tutoring on the cat. sub. type.

I have another issue with AS. When I create my mirrors with AS I find that on the pages it creates it dosent place images or banners. It has image placeholders and I have to go through all the documents and source the files for every image/banner. Not a big deal really but if I have several pages with many images it can be time consuming. Any ideas??

Does that happen for your Recip Images (Buttons) or for the Images/Graphics/Pictures you're using in a gallery?

Advancedsubmitter just copies the original HTML file for the mirror galleries, and adds the Recips to it, so I think there must be a problem with the IMG paths of your original HTML file then?!?

When I try to "Copy To Another Submission Type" Say Amateur to Lesbian it completely erases that amateur site from the amateur cat. When I try to type in all the info manually it gives me "unable to make changes because it would create a duplicate value in index, primary key,or relationship."

I just cant figure this out???
