Is reality dead?

reality has a lot of potential left. I dont think that people are doing 'reality' right.

Which is a shame. TCG is the closest to it and i'm not a big fan of their content. They've got the right idea but need to up production value.

This is of course another case of me saying I could do it better and not having the drive or income to back it up but still.

I think the person who really gets 'reality' right is going to break a big fucking hole into this industry.

I totally agree with that part of your post, but have to disagree with you saying people aren't doing it right, after all there are a lot of people making a good living pushing reality sites today.

But like all other genres, I believe reality will soon be pushed back once the next big thing comes out....but I believe it will never die!

Hey Luke. Clearly they're definately doing it right to an extent.

I should have said "doing it the way I think would sell the best."

Its like they get the name 'reality' from the tv genre but learn nothing else from them. There are a thousand reality shows out there, osme more popular than others, it should take a lot for some of the bigger name producers to sit down and figure out what makes a reality show hot or not.

Here is a hint: it aint eating cow testes.

While i've never been a big fan of the genre, I totally agree, i just don't think it's being done right but I also think there are just so many untapped ideas out there for this angle alone.
