If you can use the same database, then you really don't have much additional overhead to run those niche TGP's once they are built. It will allow you to trade with other similar niche sites, and you can hard link to your own sites and share the traffic. More work initially, but it gives more options for building traffic. Moderate skim is best, gives you enough traffic to keep your trades going, without pissing off too many surfers.

I consider moderate to be no more than 30% skim to trades, and as your hardlink trades, bookmark and SE traffic builds you can ween that skim down with the goal of eventually eliminating it completely.
