I do apologise for pumping one off so quickly but after all the years I would never have expected you to give such novice advice, albeit your view and you’re entitled to it.

Saying that you feel all unjust laws should be broken is all well and good, but how many people reading this board (that actually have sites) will see you as a hero and follow you?

Breaking the law peacefully is still breaking the law, it would have been better to advise them to comply imho.

first off let me say I respect your responses, you don't seem to be a one hit wonder that stopped by to talk shit and then run away, but your first post rubbed a few of us the wrong way.... but Jim is right on this issue and that is a fact whether you like it or not, if all the sheep followed the leader we would all be living under a nazi regime right now... it is a personal choice to try to comply or not with the regulations and if nobody is willing to break them then they will go down as "right" when we all know they are not... Jim is not trying to be a hero, he is voicing his opinion on something he and a lot of us believe in strongly and he seems to be willing to put his ass on the line which is more than a lot of people can say... it is comments like yours that make me think that the adult webmaster community will never come together as an industry and hence will be torn apart the way things seem to be going... on a side note watch that grammar dammit

I understand completely that people are entitled to have their opinions, however it was the fact that Jim chose to say “And I will keep saying this...If a law is unjust, it is our duty to break it.” That's what prompted my knee jerk response, breaking laws isn't the way to change them.

As for the adult industry coming together, I see this as a pipe dream that many have been chasing for along time. It won’t ever happen because of the fact that everyone in this business is busy looking after business and if a few fall by the wayside then some will see this as a plus...

However it seems that’s the way it works in the US. Here in the UK it’s handled in a different way, even the pole tax protestors paid the tax while they protested against it.
