Yes, ohporn, let me see if I get this...

If GreenGuy (and the rest of the elite Tier One-ers) had told AC to go bugger themselves, AC would not have made the decisions it made and everything would be as it was before?

AFAIK, it was the Visa assholes who created this situation and AC had little choice but to come up with something else to do or fold.

My beef with AC is the crappy way they implemented their changes, with little (actually zero) warning to the webmasters whose sites were being removed. |pissed| But I don't see how GreenGuy's choice of options would change that situation one bit.

Did AC act in bad faith regarding their lower-tier webmasters/content providers? You bet they did. And I'm quite sure GreenGuy is savvy enough to have noted that and will be watching his back carefully when dealing with the company. But making his own business take a dive would not have aided any of the rest of us, would it? I don't see how.
