Anyone know how to keep spammers off my ICQ?

I'm still having problems with ICQ spam... and it seems to be getting worse

So if I only allow messages to come from users on my contact list, will people still be able to send me message requesting authorization?

yes, others can still request authorization, but they can't send any other message until you accept.
