Well - we're not doing too bad here - had a few trees to clear out this morning - thank goodness they were all small ones. Looking at the stuff locally about the area it looks like this was a lot less than Ivan last year - havent heard if I-10 is knocked down again - hopefully it's still standing after all the money they spent fixing it last year. Going to try to get some contact with some our WMs down there later today if they dont show up on the board

Happy Monday! I've had an interesting morning. My friend next door called crying because there was a snake in her house. It's only me,my daughter and grandson here. Of course we are scared to death of snakes. I felt so sorry for her cause she was freaking out. So me trying to be brave ran to her house, while my daughter tried to see if any men where home on our street. No men to be found all at work..
 Sure as shit there is a black racer under her table. I grab a broom and she gives my daughter her oven gloves. We are all screaming at the top of our lungs as I try and sweep the sucker near the door.... |shocking| Well we got the god damn snake out of the house after almost having a few heart attacks. My husband will never believe I actually got near a snake. Will be proud of the brave women we were......  |
